New adventures

It feels like forever since I wrote. I’ve been busy trying to catch up on a whole lot of bits and pieces I’ve been putting off since January. Because we decided to renew for another year here in Glasgow (until May 2006) we had to flow this down to various areas of our lives. I’m in the process of extending the lease here in Glasgow, and have to formalise the extension for our tenant in Montreal who we are happy to announce agreed to stay on for another year and continue to keep the apartment in good shape – a few improvements and repairs here and there.

The realisation is starting to sink in, only 1 year left in Europe… then hopefully Australia. We have so much left to see here in Europe, we’re either going to have to start running about spending every spare penny travelling, or we’ll miss out on much of our plans. If we had enough time and money – this would be our wish list: Budapest; Istanbul; Prague; St Petersburg; Warsaw; Malta; Egypt; Lebanon; Israel; Corsica; Ireland; Slovakia; Tunisia; Sardinia; and Croatia – just to name a few… (and in no particular order).

Also, there are still lots of places here in Scotland and the UK we MUST go see before we leave… the Outer Hebrides – Lewis; Harris and Barra; Wales; Cornwall; Bristol; Newcastle; Blackpool; Bournemouth; Brighton and Northern Ireland. We’ve planned a trip with Louise at the end of this month to the Isle of Mull and we’re hoping to go with Stephanie and Alexandre south, maybe Cornwall or if not, perhaps Ireland early August.

So, if you haven’t already got your plans in for a visit – you are hereby formally advised we are only organising new adventures, to places we’ve never been from hereon in. I’m sure it will be just as much fun!

If you have any suggestions, or want to join us somewhere – just let me know! The more the merrier.
