Metro Les Halles
We’re back from Paris. It was a hectic trip. 14 flats to visit in one and a half days… Out of the 14, there was one I really loved but it was snapped up from under us, and two others that were possibilities… one was perfect only tiny, the other was a good size, amazing windows but above the budget and we would need to install a kitchen ourselves. On Saturday we chose one. On Sunday we had switched to the other.
Today we gave our final decision. The tiny apartment up in the rooftops of Paris on a pedestrian street in the 1st. It’s a great location, and an apartment full of charm, but not much space. But wtf it’s only 3 years, we’ll just sell all our furniture then we’ll fit!
Keep your fingers crossed it all goes through, I don’t think I could go through that again – it’s quite disheartening. Apart from the flat hunting however we had a fabulous time. We met up with some old friends, and some new ones, eating & drinking & even dancing the night away. The food as always was delicious, as was the wine & coffee – we’re going to miss the beer from here though!
French beer has never won any awards as far as I’m aware….
