enjoy your weekend
Thanks for your thoughts. Almost unanimous, except for a couple of ‘beach & book’ kind of girls. You know who you are!
We opted for the ‘have it all’ holiday. We’re going to Kenya January 1st. A combination of a Mombasa beach holiday and a safari, 33 degrees in the shade, sunshine and lots of cultcha… can’t think of a better way to bring in the New Year. Let’s just hope everyone behaves and we don’t get mistaken for political enthusiasts from overbearing nations and we should be ok…
Michelle got back from France late last night and left first thing this morning for Montreal. It’s a flash trip, mainly business with a 1 year anniversary church service in Courcelles this weekend. I have to apologise on her behalf in advance for not getting in touch with you. Because, chances are, she won’t get an opportunity to do so herself. It really is a fleeting visit.
Me, I’ll be keeping myself occupied as best as I can. What with the Australia vs New Zealand rugby game on around 8am tomorrow morning, followed by the Homes & Interiors Show at the SECC and lunch with Mad & Dave – it’s starting out kinda busy, but I shall do my best to get back into some kind of rhythm and write a little more frequently than I have been.
I have a bagful of excuses. But I won’t bore you.
I’m back to work Monday. Sea of Souls. I don’t know anything about the series, I’ve just been asked to come along for a photoshoot, and what my dress size is. Definitely a way to send me out to buy chocolate, ask me to measure my waist. What is it supposed to be? 26 inches? Last week I told Alain that I wasn’t going to eat until christmas, he thought I was joking, but since pulling out that tape measure – I’m seriously considering it. I won’t make it of course, I’ve already planned what I’m eating for lunch tomorrow if we go to the Observatory (or even Grassroots) with Mad & Dave, and for dinner tomorrow night I’ve got some lovely fresh organic lamb….
but there is always the day after tomorrow…
