Reykjavik was just amazing. We were rushing about trying to do everything in 4 days because we thought “we’ll never come back to Iceland”…. but how wrong we were! We’ll go back for sure. It was beautiful, majestic, and wild. The people were lovely, the city very “cool” and cosmopolitan and the nature was just unreal.

If any of you decide to visit us while we are here in Glasgow, you should try and book a flight with Iceland Air to Glasgow – we know they fly through NY and Boston – with a stopover in Reykjavik – where even if you just change planes – they take you on a bus to the Blue Lagoon where you swim outside in these ponds of mineral rich hot water – it’s fantastic… the best jetlag cure ever. The quality of the pictures is not so good on Shutterfly – so if you want me to send the photos in a file let me know, I think it is about 8 megs – to really get a good idea of how beautiful it was.

The whole place was fantastic. Hopefully you’ll come see us and we can tell you all our stories from our trip… it’s hard to give them credit in writing alone…
