Since I’ve spent all morning deleting filthy comments, I’m running out of time to give you news of our last couple of days….

Yesterday was our godchild’s 1st birthday. We understand that the day was a success, he was happy, his mum & dad were happy, even his big sister Moselle was happy! Unfortunately we couldn’t be there with him, but we did send our best wishes and lots of love.

We were in Edinburgh yesterday. I was working there on Friday, doing my part in Greyfriars Bobby and Michelle & Francis took the train to meet me. We stayed overnight and all day yesterday. It was lovely. Michelle took Francis walking up to Arthurs Seat and beyond, while I did some galleries, and then in the afternoon we met and went to the see the Andy Warhol exhibition at the National Gallery of Modern Art. It’s quite incredible really. Not something that I would aspire to putting on my walls, but incredible all the same.

This morning they have left for golf in the rain, and I’m supposed to be getting my stuff together for the day and evening to come.

We have a big date tonight courtesy of a very kind couple that we met on our last hillwalking weekend away.
