Old London town

Michelle has a meeting in London on Thursday, so we’ve decided to make the most of it and spend the weekend in Hampstead with Milene and Gabriel and the kids. It would be nicer if London was closer, say about an hour away, then we could go to see exhibitions by train, just in and out. We could then dedicate entire weekends away solely to our favourite family.

Alas, that’s not the case. So, this weekend, along with hanging out in Hampstead we will try and fit in the Frida Kahlo exhibition at the Tate Modern, a dinner with Stan, who we met whilst in Marrakech earlier this year and if time allows, the National Portrait Gallery for the exhibition The Worlds Most Photographed an exhibition of around 100 photographs exploring the lives and legends of ten well-known figures from history – Muhammad Ali, James Dean, Mahatma Gandhi, Greta Garbo, Audrey Hepburn, Adolf Hitler, John F. Kennedy, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley and Queen Victoria.

I’m lucky, while Michelle is off working I’ll manage some extra quality time with our gorgeous god-child and his sister.

I’m looking forward to it.
