We’ve just had confirmation that Joe will be coming over for a visit in July – with the intention of visiting some distilleries and pubs (amongst the usual cultural stuff!)…. we’re looking forward to it! We might even venture out to a music festival T in the Park for a weekend – and rough it – something i haven’t done since i was a teenager!

A beautiful sunny day in Glasgow today. I’ve been out doing chores all day – gyming, swimming, shopping, library, cafe’s – you know the stuff. Amongst other things, I’ve been out scouring the toy shops for neat ninja stuff for my little brother! I don’t know if Ninja Power Rangers are as popular over there as they are here, but i’ve discovered today that everyone is out of stock due to their popularity here – and wouldn’t you know it, Lucas is a huge fan! I’m off to see him next week so lets hope his sister is not too old to choose the COOL accessories!

Michelle has left for Lyon this morning, followed by Paris tomorrow… a couple of days of confit canard and good wine and she’ll be back Friday.
